Job Details
The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in the month-end close, financial reporting, and day-to-day accounting operations for the business. This individual will partner cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and business leaders to provide financial insights, improve processes, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on accounting professional with manufacturing experience, strong business acumen, and the ability to understand how accounting impacts operational performance. Experience with NetSuite ERP is highly preferred.
Responsibilities Lead key aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process Prepare and analyze journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements Support inventory accounting, cost accounting, and manufacturing-related transactions Analyze financial results and identify trends, risks, and opportunities Partner with operations, procurement, and supply chain teams to ensure accurate financial reporting Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies Support internal and external audits Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, and efficiencies Leverage NetSuite to streamline reporting and enhance financial visibility Participate in system enhancements and finance transformation initiatives Assist with special projects and ad hoc financial analysis
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 4–7+ years of progressive accounting experience Manufacturing industry experience required Strong understanding of inventory and manufacturing accounting principles Experience using NetSuite ERP strongly preferred Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP Advanced Excel skills CPA or CPA-track preferred Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills with the ability to partner across multiple business functions
